partial DID – what is it?

Hi! Someone stole the Colin Ross text from our library and it’s nearly a hundred dollars to buy one, so I’m jealous that you have one to read! <G You don’t suppose that he just means that all the parts have DID?

dear choddie, someone gives a def in the dsm with several criteria. Well , if you satisfy only some of them ,some T ’scall you "partial whatever". This was not the intention of the definers. But, if it gets you therapy and if the paradigm cures you-well, thats a good thing. But, i dont believe in partial DID. I do believe in DDNOS as the alternate diagnosis in the DSM. best k so legalistic ,no?

Trust me, I am _far_ from partially preg at the moment!! Went to get preg clothes and below my waist actually pooches out now so that preg clothes don’t just hang! *grin* I tried on a pair of regular sweats just for fun and I guess I could wear them in an emergency (like if the house was on fire) but if I had to walk around in them for long it would get pretty silly looking. The best thing is that I’ve been doing my measurements all along and while my abdomen below my waist is pooching out my hips and waist are staying basically the same. I must be gaining weight only in the ‘right’ places at the moment *grin* Oh, of course my chest is getting larger too… (talk about annoying! I’ve always thought what I had was the ideal size. Not too big to get in the way, not too small so that I’d be confused with a guy now things are getting just abit more protruberant than before and it is noticably abnormal) Rainbow Colors (Jill) — The colors blend, the edges soften. Swirling and mixing we are becoming white light.
